Communicate:

Ask what’s happening at your school during CS Ed Week.

Talk to your child’s teacher about ways you can support and continue the learning at home.

Talk to you child about technology. What does he/she like about it? How is it being used at school? Visit Common Sense Media for conversation topics and ideas to engage your child with technology.
Volunteer:

Volunteer to help your child’s teacher run a computer science learning activity.

Help your child’s teacher do some prep work at home.

Volunteer to help set up, monitor or clean up a whole school event.
Learning at Home:

Visit some of resources or websites that are linked on this site and look for activities that might be relevant for your child and family.

Express an interest in how your child uses technology to play and learn, learn what makes him or her tick.
Collaborating with Community
